It is a pretty house, built in the local traditional style, on the edge of a small, quiet but thriving village, just 2.5 miles from their carp lake. Both rooms have been refurbished to a high standard and the plumbing brought into the 21st century. The village is awash with flowers throughout the seasons. Mick is a retired carpenter who now indulges his passion for fishing with his new venture of angling holidays. While Maggie loves to cook (French style). You will eat well at their table. The house is just three and half hours south from Calais ideally situated for stop-overs, or a quiet sight-seeing break from the hustle and bustle of modern living. Haute Normandy is a region steeped in history, inter-twined with English, from the magnificent Chateaux, old buildings, picturesque villages to the Allied Graves. And for every chocoholic, a visit to the chocolate factory is a must.
