Situated in the village of Montpellier de Medillan, 20 minutes from the lovely beaches of St.Georges-de-Didonne and Meschers, we are ideally situated for exploring the coasts and towns of the Charente Maritime. With an abundance of history Pons, Rochefort and Saintes are all within easy reach. If you prefer La Rochelle and Royan with its many restaurants serving the finest food and wine. The vine yards famous for Cognac and Pineau are a sight to behold and the tasting is even better. With Cognac only 45 minutes away a tour of the many Cognac houses is a must. There are many sporting activities in the area including three excellent golf courses, Royan, Saintes and Cognac, we offer good value golf breaks. Yours games of golf will be booked in advance and you will be given details and directions to the courses. You can book a week or a weekend, you decide the choice is yours. If you prefer in the warmer months you can spend the day relaxing around the swimming pool which is set in our lovely 3 acre garden. Accommodation. Bedroom one - Principle room - has a king size bed, easy chair, TV (French) and DVD player. there is a luxury en-suite. Bedroom two - is a double bedroom with a king size bed, easy chairs and en-suite. Bedroom three - has a double bed and single bed. Bedroom four - is a double room with a kin size bed. Bedrooms three and four share a bathroom, which has a bath, shower and seperate w.c. They are ideal family rooms. Two lovely cottages are also available, sleeping 5 and 8 both are equipped to a very high standard, each cottage has its own private garden and has everything to make your holiday comfortable, including satellite television and central heating for winter lets.
