Barre en Ouche, Normandy Oak Leaf Stud, Barre en Ouche, Normandy, France Welcome to our Haflinger Stud and Bed and Breakfast in Eure, near Orne and Calvados. We have an excellent site for stopovers, sight seeing, touring and house hunting. The property is situated between L'Aigle and Bernay, right in the centre of Normandie offering several markets, modern supermarkets, indoor swimming pools, sport complex, and train stations with direct lines to Paris. Within easy reach we have:- horse racing/trotting, Haras du Pin (National Stud), Normandie Beaches and Bayeux Tapestry, Le Mans. The ferry ports of Caen and Le Havre are approx. 65 miles away. We can help with all aspects of house hunting/buying as we assist as translators for the local Notaire. We offer friendly Bed and Breakfast in our own home which has a Cathedral ceiling with all oak beams, with our Haflinger mares and foals grazing in the paddocks all around the house. We also have a fully equiped, self contained flat (with own front door) for two adults and two children which can be combined with Bed and Breakfast if required. We are sorry but we cannot accept young children due to the horses but well behaved dogs are welcome. Large kennel with run available. We are open all year including Christmas. |
