Avarua, Rarotonga Tree House B&B, Avarua, Rarotonga, Cook Islands Our B&B is set in a confortable house with walk access to a white beach, lagoon, coral reef and surrounded by a pleasant garden with tropical trees, plants and flowers. Rarotonga is a round island with turquaise lagoon and lovely beach. We are in Arorangi the west sunset side of the island, 8 km from the capital Avarua and 5 km from the internation airport (daily fly to/from New Zealand/Australia and non stop fly to Los Angeles) . It is a quite place and safe area, as is the rest of the island. Sport lover can bike around in few hours (38 km) . The area is full of outdoor recreational opportunities includind boating, fishing, walking, snorkelling, diving, safari tour and scenic flight. You can also enjoy a whale watching, shopping at the punanga nui market where you will be able to find local arts and craftsand and the beautiful black pearls. A Traditional dance show along with a taste of polynesia food is held twice a week at the Edgewater Hotel Resort just next door to our property. There are also food shops and restaurants at walking distance. |
