St Louet sur Vire, Normandy La Thiaumerie, St Louet sur Vire, Normandy, France La Thiaumèrie is a lovely 270 year old traditional stone farmhouse, buried deep in the heart of the beautiful Normandy countryside. You will receive a warm welcome from Michael and Sally Byrne, a British couple who bought La Thiaumerie in 1999 and have been gradually renovating the property ever since to make it the haven of peace, comfort and tranquility that it now is. It is the perfect base from which to visit the wide expanse of golden beaches along the Cotentin Peninsula, marvellous local markets and charming old towns like Villedieu des Poeles, or more famous sites like Bayeux, Mont St Michel and the D-Day landing beaches. It is a great central location for many activity holidays such as canoeing, cycling, bungee-jumping, golf or just a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of modern everyday living. The house itself has 3 lovely double bedrooms (one of which has a twin room attached for families). All rooms have modern, private bathrooms and there is a cosy lounge for the exlcusive use of our guests. Breakfast is served in our spacious dining room as are evening meals, which are offered by prior arrangement on certain nights of the week. The garden has plenty of places to sit and relax and enjoy the surrounding countryside and in summer we have a ping pong table under the cover or the old, open-sided barn.

A deposit of the first night's booking or 30%, whichever is the greater, refundable only if the room can be rebooked. Full amount payable if cancelled within 7 days of arrival unless rooms can be relet. Full amount payable for early departure.
