During the second world war American soldiers occupied the house during the fight for the liberation of Normandy and the German counter attack in August 1944. Cherence Le Roussel is a pretty little village with an old church, a small bar and shop and a bakery offering fresh bread, croissants and cakes. The village has 3 rivers, where fishing is popular. Bedroom 1 - A large bedroom with a double bed including television and window with view to the garden and valley. This room includes a private en suite shower, sink and toilet. Typically decorated in French style with original wooden floors. Bedroom 2 - Double bedroom including television. This room has a private adjoining bathroom with sink, toilet and large two person Jacuzzi spa bath with window overlooking the garden and valley. The house has a large sitting room at your disposal which includes television, wood burner, CD’s & DVD’s. Outside available are a large terrace equipped with table and chairs patio heater overlooking the garden. There is a decking area equipped with a BBQ and seating.
