Wells, Somerset Manor Farm Bed & Breakfast, Wells, Somerset, England UK Manor Farm is a stunning 14th century, Grade II listed house, lovingly restored by its current owners, yet retaining a wealth of exciting and unusual original period features. There are beams galore (horizontal and vertical), open fires, flagstone floors, a secret courtyard with pond and 30 ft. well, the original Cider Room and even the old Bakehouse, complete with oven and copper. The house was the first to be built in the little village of East Horrington and was originally a part of the Longleat Estate, moving into private ownership at the turn of the last century and ceasing to be a working farm some 15 years ago. If you are looking for a family, walking or sight-seeing holiday or simply wishing to relax for a few days away from it all, Manor Farm is just the place! It is a haven for children of all ages who are most welcome and a convenient stop over for guests en route to Devon and Cornwall. |
