Avarua, Rarotonga Ariana Bungalows, Avarua, Rarotonga, Cook Islands Ariana is located 150 meters from the ocean and main road, three kilometers from the only town (Avarua) in the Cook Islands. The Ariana has 9 fully self contained bungalows, each with a kitchen, separate bedroom and private balcony, these are priced at NZ$60 per night. There are also two upscale fully self contained studio units at NZ$65 per night. Hostel rooms are also available. These are pleasant bedrooms in a four bedroom or two bedroom house with a common kitchen and bath. These rooms are $NZ30 single/NZ$40 double. In addition there are 2 dormitories. Each dorm has a bathroom and a kitchen. Price is NZ$18 per person per night. Ask about our low, low weekly rates. The buildings are spaced around a lush, green garden with fruit trees ripe for the picking and a peaceful, quiet atmosphere. There is a swimming pool, barbecue area, recreation room with pool table, TV and video, a small shop and a self service laundry. Airport pickup is free of charge.
