Springville, California Great Energy!, Springville, California, United States Great Energy is in the town of Springville (pop. 2,000), at an elevation of 1,000 ft, in the foothills of the southern Sierra Nevada Mountains. We are less than three hours north-east of Los Angeles; four and a half hours south-east of San Francisco. Three miles from Sequoia National Monument, you can hike, ski, cycle, rock climb, or just sit on smooth granite slabs while the Tule river crashes beside you. The small town of Springville has a Post Office, two gas stations and markets, a video store, a couple of antique shops, a hamburger place, a pizza parlor, a Mexican Restaurant and the Springville Inn and Restaurant. Run by the owner in a private home you will have access to the secrets of Springville, known only to locals. I will give you directions for getting to all the best places, or you can just hang out by the pool. An entirely different experience of California; if you are from the city you will feel like you are in another world. |
