Homer, Alaska Brigitte's Bavarian Bed und Breakfast, Homer, Alaska, United States Brigitte's Bavarian Bed und Breakfast cottages are nestled on a hillside among birch trees overlooking the Kachemak Bay, the Kenai mountains & glaciers. All have sunny porches, private bath and entries. There are delightful gardens to explore on walkways, trail to hike starting right outside your cottage door. Evenings, weather permitting, we have a fire pit going to sit around and maybe tell tall stories and drink tea or taste Brigitte's Rhubarb wine. There is a swing between two birch trees. Some chickens & turkeys are across a little bridge for our egg production. Many flowers around the house and cottages and in gardens. We grow all kinds of vegetables for breakfast use: herbs for omelets & teas, potatoes for home fries or Swiss Rösti. During July we smoke our salmon - come watch and ask questions. Bring your slippers - stay a while
