The area around Estival is as rich and diverse as one could wish for. The region is steeped in history ranging from the famous Mont St Michel to the wonderful medieval town of Dinan, commonly know as the "Jewel" in Brittany's crown. If the sea is what you enjoy - and who doesn't enjoy a break at the seaside - then you will not be disappointed. This area is crammed full of magnificent beaches - St Cast le Guildo, St Lunaire, Dinard and St Malo to name just a few. There are literally miles and miles of glorious beaches, others have rock pools where you can enjoy looking for sea life as well enjoying a well earned rest on the golden sands. If the countryside is more to your liking then you will not be disappointed either. There are absolutely miles of walks, some of which pass through the many forests that we have here in our part of Brittany. We even have a forest that is said to have once been King Arthur's! |
