The village is just 8 miles from the Royal Family's retreat at Balmoral. The picturesque River Clunie runs along at the bottom of the garden, where guests can sit and watch the wildlife. We are just a few minutes' drive from the ski slopes at Glenshee, Britain's most extensive ski area,and there are excellent ski hire facilities in the village. We also boast one of the most picturesque golf courses in the country, as well as it being the highest in Great Britain at over 1100 feet. Hillwalking and rock climbing are well catered for,as we are in the heart of the beautiful Cairngorm mountains; or just come and relax among some of the most wonderful scenery you'll ever see. |
